On December 20, 2024, a productive roundtable discussion was held in Washington, D.C., bringing together Uzbek and American business leaders under the leadership of Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Jamshid Khodjaev.

The meeting, which included representatives from the White House and the U.S. Department of Commerce, saw participation from executives of over 40 major U.S. companies. Leaders from notable firms such as the U.S.-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, Cove Capital LLC, City Bridge Capital Group, Creative Associates, FL Smidth, and dōTERRA engaged in direct discussions to expand business relations. CCIP Corp was also prominently present, underscoring its role in fostering strategic partnerships in the region. Representatives from JP Morgan, Komatsu, and the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association were also part of the dialogue.

The Uzbek delegation highlighted recent developments in U.S.-Uzbekistan strategic partnerships and introduced new investment opportunities across various sectors. A key point of interest for participants was Uzbekistan’s ongoing negotiations for accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), with successful outcomes signaling potential to strengthen international trade relations.
